Jesus said that one cannot even see the kingdom of God unless he is born of the Spirit. Paul wrote that the sons of God are those that are led by the Spirit of God. Obviously, the Holy Spirit is essential and absolutely necessary for salvation. However, the work of the Holy Spirit and His very significance in our lives is often misunderstood and overlooked by many professed believers.
