Honduran Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Gerardo Torres Zelaya emphasized a section of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s New Year address, in which he mentioned the importance of peace. He said it’s a common value between China and Latin America and the Caribbean, and expected the 2024 summit between China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to contribute to expanding bilateral convergence.
